To be honest, I wasn't one of those people who went completely gaga over the Naked Palettes. I liked the first one, but felt the shadows in it were too gold for my skintone, so I passed on it. I was however pretty impressed with the second Naked Palette. Impressed, but not impressed enough to stand in line for hours or hover over my computer until the wee hours of the morning just to get my hands on it. So, I patiently waited until they were in stock and I ordered one. Speaking of which, am I the only one who was mildly annoyed that we [once again] had to wait for weeks on end until they were 'in stock'? What's the deal Urban Decay? Did you really think it wouldn't be in high demand, based on the sales of the first Naked Palette? Come on. I'm no pro. but I could have told you that.
Anyway, I absolutely love this palette. It has every shadow I need to create my everyday neutral looks.
It features 11 different and very wearable neutral eye shadows, plus one black, which I love. You can create hundreds of different everyday looks and you have the ability to transform those looks to a smokey eye for the evenings without having to run home or completely redo your makeup. Just whip out your Naked Palette and you're set.
The palette also comes with a double ended brush (which isn't half bad in my opinion) and a very tiny lip gloss.
You can purchase the Naked2 Palette at sephora.com or at urbandecay.com for $50.
Do you have either Naked Palette? Do you prefer one over the other?
